Key Competencies

C-AID Consultants key competencies focus around:

• A thorough understanding of the principles of ESD and their impact on aquatic resource management and the fishing industry
• Administration, planning, organisational and project management skills
• A capacity to identify issues, or analyse problems, and develop creative solutions that provide sustainable outcomes
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills, with the ability to target outputs and styles to meet specific audience or end user requirements
• Understanding of the importance of Government drivers, but also cognisant of the fundamental relationships between stakeholders and the needs of the private sector, especially the fishing and seafood industry
• Extensive experience in working with people who do not speak English as a first language, including indigenous Australians, Pacific Islanders, Asian fishers and foreign based business operators.
